Anti-Spam Policy

Sendlyio is a tool for legitimate B2B cold outreach. We have zero tolerance for spam. Violations of this policy will result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

Your responsibilities as a sender

By using Sendlyio you confirm and agree that:

  • You will only send to business email addresses of individuals or organisations that have a plausible business interest in your offer.
  • You have obtained the recipient's email through legitimate means — public business directories, professional networks, your CRM, opt-in lists, or a documented business relationship.
  • You will never purchase scraped or unverified email lists and load them into Sendlyio.
  • You will include a clear identification of yourself or your business, a valid physical postal address, and a working one-click unsubscribe mechanism in every email.
  • You will honour unsubscribes within 10 business days and never re-add an unsubscribed address.
  • You will not use misleading subject lines, false sender names, deceptive "Re:" / "Fwd:" prefixes, or spoofed return-paths.
  • You will comply with all applicable laws including the US CAN-SPAM Act, EU GDPR, Canadian CASL, UK PECR, and any local laws in jurisdictions where your recipients reside.

Prohibited content and use

You may not use Sendlyio to send any of the following:

  • Adult content, pornography, escort or dating services.
  • Multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, "get rich quick" offers, or work-from-home scams.
  • Cryptocurrency promotions, ICO/token sales, pump-and-dump schemes, or unregulated financial products.
  • Illegal substances, prescription drugs without authorisation, weapons, or counterfeit goods.
  • Phishing, malware, fraudulent invoices, fake "your account" alerts, or any deceptive impersonation.
  • Gambling or sweepstakes in jurisdictions where prohibited.
  • Hate speech, harassment, threats, or content that incites violence against any individual or group.
  • Political campaign solicitations sent to recipients who have not opted in.
  • Mass emails to consumer (B2C) personal addresses without prior opt-in consent.

Volume and reputation

You are responsible for your sending reputation. We require:

  • A bounce rate below 5% and a spam complaint rate below 0.3% on your campaigns.
  • Proper authentication on every connected inbox: SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records configured correctly for your sending domain.
  • Use of Sendlyio's built-in email verification on imported lists before sending.
  • Use of Sendlyio's built-in warmup on any new inbox for at least 14 days before sending campaigns.

Accounts that consistently exceed these thresholds may be paused while we investigate.

Enforcement

We monitor sending patterns, complaint feedback loops, and abuse reports from mailbox providers (Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, etc.). When a violation is detected we may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice:

  • Pause campaigns and rate-limit your account.
  • Disconnect compromised or abusive inboxes.
  • Suspend or terminate your account.
  • Report serious violations to law enforcement and the relevant mailbox providers.

Accounts terminated for abuse are not eligible for refunds.

Reporting abuse

If you received a message sent through Sendlyio that you believe violates this policy, please email abuse@sendlyio.com with the full message including all headers. We investigate every report within one business day.

Updates

This policy may be updated as laws and best practices evolve. Material changes will be announced via email and in-app notification. Continued use after such notice constitutes acceptance.
